EGYF is my local airstrip, conveniently located between Bath & Bristol.
It is an uphill strip, with the River Avon at one end, a sunken road at the other and the high ground of Kelston Round Hill to the north.
With MSFS2020's improved weather modelling it is frequently misty thanks to its low lying position.
And it has has been known to catch people out in real life.
However, Asobo's default version includes an irritating AI tower block and stately home, now removed.
I have also added
- airfield buildings that look more like the ones on the airstrip
- two parking spaces
- a windsock
- a static Auster
- a vintage "Tilly" pickup truck
- recoloured ground textures to remove various objects in the Bing Maps imagery
- some other bits of clutter
Having sorted it out, I thought someone else might like to also give it a try - maybe see you there...
